BIRA Care Homes was founded in 2011 out of a simple but powerful belief: that those who have given so much to society deserve to spend their later years surrounded by love, dignity and true belonging.

For over 14 years we have built our homes on family values, treating every resident as one of our own. What began with a vision to close the gap in quality of care has grown into a promise — to create not just care homes, but real homes filled with warmth, compassion and harmony.

Today the group spans seven homes across Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Newport and Gwent — and continues to grow. At BIRA, we honour lives well lived by ensuring the final chapters are written with peace, comfort and the highest quality of care.
