Celebrating Our Staff of the Year — Double Celebrations, Double Smiles

Double celebrations, double smiles! As the festive season arrived, our homes came together to celebrate our annual staff awards, including Staff of the Year, and to mark Christmas with the people at the heart of everything we do — our residents and our teams.

Behind every ‘Good’ inspection and every five-star review is something simpler: people who turn up each day with warmth, patience and genuine care. Our awards are a chance to stop and recognise the carers, nurses, kitchen teams, housekeepers and managers whose everyday kindness makes a BIRA home feel like home.

It was a joy to see residents and staff celebrating side by side — sharing food, festive cheer and a few well-earned smiles. To everyone recognised this year, and to every member of our teams across the group: thank you. You are the reason families trust us with the people they love.
